its funny i was reading through the list (lurked here for ages but only just regged) thinking that's xxx from forums etc etc didn't notice at first she'd sent it to everyone.
I replied but not to all as I'm not that special saying I'd love to come but since its over 12 months since order and I'm still waiting on my car I won't be attending as I have no way of getting there!

Well, still no invitation.

Hold on! ..... maybe I didn't buy a Mustang after all? ....... maybe it was all just a dream? ..... HOLY S:censored:T! Now I see it! Ford is The Matrix! ..... I wondered why I woke up in a vat of jelly this morning.

That sent shivers through me. I just imagined getting up bleery eyed, walking down stairs to go to work, absent mindedly picking up the keys, out through the back door, through the side gate to my.......POXY F'ING A class Merc.....Auto!!

I can only imagine the way I would feel as I get in, select reverse, put the throttle down and wait for the poxy gbox to decide to obey my command and finally lurch backwards.

Still no invitation here. I was optimisticly thinking ford may want to show me some good will after crashing my car for which I waited 6 months.
I hear other big brands register loaner cars for customers they inconvenience.

Does Ford know about your situation or is the dealer keeping it under the radar as much as possible?

I got an invite last Tuesday, replied to both Karen and the email address on the poster saying yes on Thursday. Heard nothing since... and I was even on the infamous Gibbo reply all email chain :lol: Fingers crossed the places don't fill up :doh:
