Yep, that suspension totally sucks for drag racing. You should educate them.

It does when compared to a drag setup on a GT. The GT350 will never keep up with a comparable GT with 6R80, and drag suspension at the strip. Especially once the Gt has FI.

this is so stupid... apples to apples the GT350 is going to be faster with he same parts. :shrug: just because most people wouldn't turn a gt350 into a drag car doesn't mean it wouldn't be faster than a normal GT.

At a dragstrip, a 6R80 GT will be quicker at the same power level. The autos are quicker than manuals.
with a Manual.. sure... GT350 could win. We don't quite know how the 5.2 Voodoo handles forced induction yet, or how long it will stay together at higher power levels.
