Definitely a feel good dyno......These numbers are an outlier by a big margin.....There isnt going to be that large an inter car variability.....:eyebulge:

Magnaflow got 370rwhp/350rwtq stock - http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/2015-mustang-gt-3850.html

LMR got 375hp and 358 lb/tq - http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/2015-gt-dyno-4137.html

There's been such a wide range which is to be expected with diff dynos, diff conditions but we definitely have seen north of 350.

Just for a moment can we comment that for over 2,200 rpm the tq gain was over 20 ftlbs? Yeah the peak gain was impressive but for the majority of the entire range it was picking up at least 15 foot pounds. That's going to help quite a bit.

Peak numbers get attention, sustained gains are where it's at

I don't know jack shit about Dyno numbers, but were not all these runs perform with crap gas and little to know miles at all. Could it be possible the 5.0 is that sensitive?

Also thanks to CJ for sharing all this info, takes time and money.:clap2:

I've got a Roush blower kit coming in two weeks. JDM is going to do the install. We will run a baseline before hand on their dyno so we will see how the numbers compare to what we got yesterday. Then we will know for sure.

Fourth gear runs?? That's probably why the numbers are inflated. Dyno runs should only be done in fifth as that's a 1:1 ratio in the MT-82. The gear ratio not being one to one could explain the anomoly. 4th is 1.32, so 30% more multiplier or so. Could definitely have something to do with it

Seems people can't read, only some of the runs were done in 4th. He clearly stated they were done in both gears.

we did one in 4th three in 5th. we put a Toyota truck on for a test and it was right where it should have been. I had a 2005 Mustang with 570hp that I sold last year. The Mustang feels spirited enough to be close to the numbers in my opinion. But that being said can you realy tell the difference of 25-30hp on a new car. In a few weeks it will be on a different dyno to compare. It will be very interesting to see how that pans out.

I'd love to have the performance package but don't want the wheels and spoiler delete.. Is that possible? I'd want the premium wheels and the rear spoiler.

The numbers in the OP for the 3 runs, were they all done in 5th?

Thanks for doing this also.
