kept my appointment to get it installed today. Hurricane told me it'd be a 2-3 hours to complete. Hoping it isn't that hard/complicated. If it gets on will post up results. Lund tune is next unless I can talk to Tony (runs shop right beside Hurricane) about a dyno/tune session soon.

I have been eternally procrastinating about installing mine...seems like I'm not the only one.

Car is in garage now. Talked to Tony at Tuners:$400 for custom tune with dyno. Said they did a 2014 with 2018 intake last week. Gained 29 hp loss 9 ft lb torque. He told me could sort the new combo out.

Final install cost was $152.45. WooHoo! only drove it about 10 miles in bumper to bumper traffic so no WOT runs.

so sorry about that. I was nervous about putting it on last minute then decided what the heck. I feel better about it after talking to Chris at Hurricane Performance. Before leaving we discussed the goals of the car and not just peak hp/tq #'s. Suggested focusing on the suspension & 1 piece driveshaft.

Will give more feedback & pics soon.

put a little over 160 miles on it now. Big difference down low, when you got WOT then let it off its a smooth slow down, the exhaust note is so low. Car gets louder quicker, 0-70 feels faster/smoother now. total investment=$222.45. It will never be a peak hp king but is fun to drive on the street.

Game over so you put the 18 on or the f150 Intake? The 18 Intake on a 14 car was my buddies. Going to see tony tomorrow for a tune and ngauge finally lol

I believe he did the F150 mani...I can't decide if I want to mess with the pigtail/irmc/etc drama with 18 mani...but it has such a nice profile...GT350+Stock+F150 all in one...but the F150 seems like I could do myself even though I've never r/r a mani before and it does seem like that is really all I would need since I never rev to the moon anyways...I need to really think on this.
