Hm, found this thread via search. The tramlining doesn't bother me a lot, though I'd rather live without it. Everyone is going for the 2pt rather than the 4pt. Any reason aside from weight?

It appears this part would preclude installing the Shelby trans cooler. If I were to choose it would be the latter.

Put this on my GT. No decrease in tramlining, but noticeable increase in the clarity of feedback from the front end which does make negotiating tramlines due to increased resolution of steering feedback. Noticed a major increase in feedback especially when going up a curb or speedbump with only one front wheel.

Overall happy with the part, fitment and resulting dynamics. Will add the rear subframe braces in the near future as well as I KNOW the rear subframe could use some reinforcing.

Is this part still available? I can't find it anywhere.

And if not - any other comparable parts fellas?

Steeda is having website issues. Try again tomorrow. I've got it waiting for a new jack in the garage

The products are available here - still under maintenance as we work on updating our site:

Feel free to email me at [email protected] if I can provide additional support.

Best Regards,

Thanks Tim. Added them to my cart. Before I check out though are these the jacking rails that will work for our cars?

I have driven about 100 miles since I had the alignment verified / corrected. The tech made some corrections to both front and rear toe. Initially I thought there was no change, but I have either grown accustomed to the tramlining, or it has gotten slightly better. I will add the Steeda brace in the next few days and give my impressions after install and then again after driving.

Any verdict since you had it installed?

From what I can tell, the biggest benefit of the Shelby scoop is the wings that block radiating heat from the cats. I almost want to weld or attach on something similar to my 2-point brace.

As for why people go with the 2-point brace: cheaper, easier to install, better ground clearance - one of those three reasons.

Well, I'll say one thing for this piece. It certainly is a bunch easier to induce oversteer, which is what you'd expect by stiffening up the front end. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the effect. I'd have to run it on track to see which will take another month or two.
