plus they are comparing the marked up price of this car. Dealers always do this markup crap. They had the M1 priced 15 over which made me special order at MSRP.

Dealer in Shreveport, LA received one about 6 weeks ago, listed it at $92k, last week down to $74k with a got to move the car posted. At $92 they are only $12k off what I paid for a 2022 CFTP car with under 1200 miles.

Don't feel sad for me. If you are super eager to pay the prices for new cars right now, go right ahead. I'm fine with keeping my car that I spent less than $30K for. When I bought it, I passed on new Mach 1s deliberately because I decided which I preferred.

If the DH was twice as good as my 2017 I would be a buyer. I just don't see it being worth double or more. I actually prefer many of the features in my cheap 2017. I might not even be a DH buyer if Ford priced it at $40K due to the "upgrades", including the interior, gearing, dash, etc.

Because it’s the NEW hotness and the Mach one is old and stale.
they’re great looking cars and if the 2024 didn’t exist yet it would be their time…. But that was 4 years ago now.

Lol its pretty simple, people that would want it:
1) Younger folks
2) Someone that owns an older Pre-S550 Mustang
3) Someone that wants a brand new car
4) Other folks that like the way it looks and want a 6 speed V8

I love me some Shelby but I refused to consider it since I wanted a brand new fun Daily driver. New Mach 1 fit the bill perfectly. Same will be with the S650 for some folks.
