Jeff, I installed the kit in December which means I asked "nicely" back then. Just trying to look out for the other guys who are waiting to be able to order it. Compared to the first one they offered, this is way better looking. Happy for you Bhoris, they steered me away from the swat stainless steel but, now seem to be embracing it. It just does not make sense

Just followed the instructions, only I didn't install the rods. I did buy 5 additional bolts from Lowe's and put 3 of them toward the front, and 1 on each of the sides.

And they're solid? That's really good news.

Yes sir. With the additional bolts I added, it doesn't flex at all, or droop. So far I've been at 100MPH and no issues. Also, a buddy of mine has been running no rods for a year now with no issues.

You've just sold me on an apr splitter!!! wanted to try to buff out the logo too but that's really not a huge deal.

Hell yeah man! And the APR logo is actually just a sticker. Been debating myself whether to take it off or not.

Has anyone with ACC replaced the bottom grille w/mesh. I don't wanna replace the top grill w/mesh but leave the bottom grill stock. Any suggestions ?

FYI they put up the SWAT mesh kit but want $199

Quite a premium over just buying the black mesh and cutting it yourself- $145 for the black sheet (considering there is tons of profit on the 12"x48" piece of mesh at $145, even after a quick blast of powder cost, as is)

The regular mesh in black was only $99 with adhesive; so $100 premium?

FWIW, the kit they're selling is for the precut mesh AND the grilles.

Edit: Maybe not. I think I misread on their site.
