Thanks for the earlier replies to my questions regarding this mod.

Still curious:

How thin is the grill afterwards - is it a lot of material removed that will make the honey combs fragile?

Did any of you notice air inlet temps drop compared to when the air box inlet hole is normally blocked by the "stock" grille? Or coolant temps drop now there is more air flow to radiator?

I just did this to my grille. Alot more work then i thought. Took me prob 6 hours total

This might be a noob question but do you have to get the car on jacks? or is that just for more clearance for the screws underneath?

Also a dremel with sandpaper should do the trick right?

If you can't tell I am sort of new to this whole thing.:headbonk:

Dremel will not be as clean and uniform as sanding the back. I would say yes to jacking the car. Bumper needs to come off

Would you be able to point me in the right direction/link what sanding tool you'd recommend? I'd have to go buy it or see if some of my friends have it.

I used a dewalt orbital sander with 40 grit sanding discs. You will need probably6-8 of them
