In person CO was much nicer, imo. The yellow seemed kind of pale. Could've been the dealer's lighting.

Of those, I'd get CO - that was originally my first choice, but became my second choice after I saw Magnetic in person. My NEXT Mustang will definitely be a CO though. I love the color and it's a classic Mustang color as well.

This is the orange one I'm looking at. It has Recaros and is pretty loaded up. Sharp car.

Okay .. so why isn't that in your driveway yet? It looks amazing!

I'm leaning toward CO, but I have a Canary yellow 93 Feature car and think it might be kinda dorky to have two yellow cars . Plus, I like cars like I like women - plentiful w/ lots of variation.

As for resale, the logic that says the avg consumer isn't willing to pay as much for a bright color can be flipped to say that those who appreciate the bright colors are willing to pay more for them...don't let predictions of future value dissuade you from any color...it's a car, not a stock pick.

I've also never tired of owning a car due to its color.

I have TY. Hate it EVERYDAY. I should have listened to the folks who were talking about resale value (especially compared to a conventional color with broad appeal like Halloween orange), as the thought of potentially getting less money for a rarer color I hate bothers me a lot, especially on a really expensive exotic car like the Mustang (with very low demand) where the relative price difference in re-sale between colors is HUGE.

Things I hate about it:
1) It looks clean - even when its dirty. Can go for a long time without a wash
2) It doesn't show swirls, scratches at all
3) It's rare and likely wont be offered for most of the model run.
4) Its bright and bold and highly saturated.
5) It gets attention. I cant cheat on my wife anymore in fear of being spotted in my car with another lady.
6) It's a crime to dare to drive a fun car like a Mustang in a bright color like yellow.
7) It looks too good with the black accents.

I should have gone with Oxford White!

For the record, CO was my second choice followed in a distant 3rd by guard.

Two things on this:

1) I could never buy a yellow car because it would be too anonymous. Blends in with all the taxicabs.

2) WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DO YOU HAVE??? Those pictures are absolutely amazing.

1) All of us dont have the misfortune of living in NYC :p. Gray would blend in with all the asphalt and buildings, white with all the delivery vans, orange with all the traffic cones.....

2) It's not the tool of the trade, its how you use it. If you want to know, I have a Canon Rebel (400 bucks). :-)

Personal opinion.. Orange looks good without stripes or decals but I would need something to breakup the yellow a bit. If you plan on stripes, YYY. No stripes, CO. Again, just how I would do it. I think I'd wind up with CO out of the two.

I honestly like both colors. But if pressed my vote is with Competition Orange. Check it out with stripes. I put them on myself.

Competition Orange is the better color out of the two imo. If I could do it all over again, however, I would've gone with Ruby Red.
