I would agree IF the OP is going road racing, especially if as a serious racer.
But as a DD or occasional use car the pleasure from the blower will outweigh the front end dynamic change I think.
Yes, they will. And initial ones - if not every one - will include the lovely 'market adjustment' by the stealerships with willing buyers in line to fork it over.
You need to drive both for yourself to know. I've had two 5th gen Camaros and now own a 6th Gen and the two generations are very different and the new Mustang is worlds apart in many ways from the Camaro.
Go drive both cars and make your own decision.
I love the C6 Vette but your new Mustang in that silver with the black wheels is a million times better looking. Congratulations - that is one gorgeous ride.
What I am saying is that you truly do not NEED a magnaride suspension everyday for normal street driving.
If you do need it as you say you do, what conditions are you driving in that it is required that a conventional suspension could not offer you?
Is it just that you like the variability of...
I currently own a 2018 SS/1LE Camaro and test drove 2018 GT Premiums with and without the PP1. Other posters have said the obvious - the 1LE suspension is definitely a better tuned and performance based set up. But does that matter to you if you are not going to track the car? Yes, the magnaride...
Really? The PP is an expensive option for sure but the additional cooling etc has no value, even if I were to put a blower on the car?
I would think the options would have some value but maybe I'm thinking wrong?
Haha - well, it could but I am considering selling or trading the Z.
It's a bad ass car for sure but I've had it about 2 years now and want something different plus I would really like to get the A10 for the strip. Shopping for now but you never know.
Thank you - and I agree about the look. The non-PP car is Royal Crimson and has bright finish wheels with 265's all around. The PP1 car is white with the black wheels and I do like the staggered look as well but especially the black wheels.
Both are GT-Premiums but the non-PP car is a 400A...
Neither car has magnaride. The non-GT PP car does have active valve exhaust. Both have the 3.55 rear axle.
Just wondering about the electronic bits especially the Line-Lock and Launch Control - will both cars have those or are they specific to the GT-PP1 package?
Just wondering if a GT Premium A10 car that does not have the GT Performance Package but does have the 3.55 Limited Slip rear axle has any less performance ability than a car WITH the PP as far as the drag strip goes?
I know there are brake differences as well as tire/wheel differences but...
