Which cold air intake would you recommend and why?

Thanks

K&N is a tried and true setup, along with Roush which seems to be a great sound. And JLT is relatively new to market CAI. I think I remember reading its not quite as loud as the other two, but in my opinion looks the best. I think its agreed however the performance gains are all about the same and negligible difference from one another, just go with the one you prefer.

I had the Roush intake and it did sound really good. A friend of mine swore I had an exhaust but it was all from the Roush intake. Now I have a Procharger with an open element filter but it doesn't sound as good as that Roush intake.
I have my old Roush intake for sale for $210 shipped. Only had a few thousand miles on it.

Love my Roush CAI, great sound and performance. Planning to pair it with the Roush Axle Backs in the near future.

Tempted, worried about my warranty. I only have 1000 miles on mine!

Airaid looks pretty good although sound wise its not that good. I would either go with roush or just replace the stock filter with a cone filter

It only takes 5 minutes to go back to the stock intake if you need to go in for warranty work..

What do you guys mean by sounding good?..does it make for a distinct induction noise or something?

You can find some videos here. I would describe it almost like a turbo swoosh

I have the Airaid and it sounds ok. Bought one because of the deal I got from 4wo|cold air intakes before. Aside from Roush and K&N, BBK and Steeda are good intakes also.

the JLT has the best design of all of them IMO....just by looking at it, it has no restrictive bends in it, unlike a couple of the others. granted, probably wont effect power too much....but I also think its the best looking of the lot.
