  1. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I've been gone for a while. Been enjoying my 10 year old Mercedes with IRS and no vibration. Still have my Mustang. Are there ANY reports of vibration on the 2018? Of course I really don't want to spend the money on a 4 cyl and the GT is even way more expensive now and I don't think I'll play...
  2. V6 automatic....was it a mistake?

In decades past an auto would just be a big NO! But they are so much better and more advanced now. I can't beleive how good it is. In sport mode it's a totally different car and does not do all those things that in the past, I would NOT want an automatic for. It's amazing, and remote start in...
  3. Bad Valve Cover Gasket or...?

Careful... plastic... God I hate all this plastic. It's great new but at 10 years old? If in warranty, don't touch it. take it in for an oil leak and they should replace the gasket. It's a minor issue but we just had this done on our 2015 CR-V.
  4. X-Plan on New Mustang

You can work a deal better than these plans. There are several dealers around the country that severely discount the cars if you have a trade in. I got $5000 off $27K sticker for my V6. That's a HUGE discount. And I got the same sorry trade in value I would have got anywhere else on my trade...
  5. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I would try this if I had a flat driveway to work on it, but I don't. Maybe I can get a friend to help.. I read your post as it was linked to in another post, and it seems simple enough and makes sense, but how about my experience? I had a total fix from the dealer, Cadillac smooth, after 2...
  6. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

My post repair experience is exactly like this.
  7. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Yeah when are we gonna see a class action lawsuit? I know they are mostly money makers for lawyers but I would still get in on one. Someone has to have spoken to a lawyer already. There must be no money in it for a lawyer or it would have already happened. We have reports of 2017 models with...
  8. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

A new driveshaft design? This is promising, but I don't have my hopes up.
  9. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

That was one of my diagnosis as well. Changed nothing. YES, mine was fixed! For TWO days, then it came back. Now it's worse and getting worse. I have not seen one report of a fix, so I am very sorry to say, but you are ALL wasting your time. Some have reduced it with hose clamps and such, but...
  10. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

All new usernames here, same problem. Did anyone get a prompt from the website about viewing a sticky about not just posting to bash the platform? I did. So now we are the lepers of the Mustang community. No one wants to admit there is an issue and we are just outcasts to waste our hard earned...
  11. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Been gone for a while so I came back to check and not surprised there is still no fix. Glad to hear the execs lost their bonuses, I lost enjoyment of a car I worked 20 years for! I'm hopeful for a future recall or class action lawsuit or something. The problem is... many Mustang owners don't...
  12. Ford Becomes #2 in JD Power's 2017 Initial Quality; Mustang Takes Top Quality Honors

What a joke. Love the Mustang, but these ratings mean nothing to me anymore.
  13. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

You are right but this is not my first car, but the first one that kills my joy of ownership. They offered me a 45K mile oil changes and tire rotations. What a joke!
  14. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I was just told by dealer #3 that the vibration is within spec, but still there. Bullshit. Last Mustang, last Ford, last American car. PERIOD!
  15. Can you smell your engine when you park it?

New cars do this, but only at first. Should not smell anything after a couple thousand miles. Maybe my shit Ford leaks oil when I push it. Was a Ford fan. Ford is losing me... And I'm trying to hang on.
  16. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I also am thinking they all do it to some degree. Are Mustang fans that unfamiliar with refined cars that they don't notice? I can't wrap my head around that. My car has been sitting at a dealership for just a vibe machine hook up for 2 weeks and they haven't touched it. Ford Service knows it's...
  17. Can you smell your engine when you park it?

Mine does this only after driving it hard, which is not very often. But still did it after 10K miles.
  18. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

Well I'm ready to file with BBB now. My car has been at the third dealer for over a week and I don't think they've done anything with it. I'm just getting the runaround. So do you file with Ford itself or the dealer? I searched for Ford in Dearborn Michigan and it came up but with no reviews...
  19. Vibration between 50 & 70 mph

I makes sense cause mine was totally cured only to come back days later. Rear end is moving around too much. I'd rather feel the driveline than the vibes. Vibes are NOT driveline noise. 2 different things!
