Nevermind the 10-speed automatic, I'd like to see what needs to change on the 2015-2017 5.0 to make this sort of power. Is it something that can be retro'ed or is this literally better off getting a 2018.

No, it can't be retro'd.

You'll be cheaper in the long run to just get an 18

I'm sure someone will swap the engine into a 15-17 once we hit cars n coffee season and people start wrecking them. In terms of doing anything to the Gen2 coyote, not likely. The Gen3 has higher compression and a lot more fuel delivery now.

Pretty sure the DI turns off at WOT. I'm also assuming that the 500whp was on E85.

So pretty much 1500 bucks tune and headers get you 500hp to tires and run 11s all day lol

Not quite but I get your point. Actual cost would likely be around $2600 or so but yes, the same amount of $ in a 15-17 would only net 430ish.

Yeah.. sounds like a happy dyno. Cams are needed for 500 whp iirc. Speaking of which, are the cams for the 18 the same as genII's?
