But CJPP makes it seem so easy...
Yes well he has the car up on a lift and isn't bending his bad knee and heaving an IRS downward with a pry bar while yanking a spring out basically upsidedown... :frusty:

Question for BMR Tech:
If you already have the CB005 installed, what is your recommended method? If you try to do it the one side, then the other method, it doesn't seem like it'll work without loosening both, because the lockout prevents the cradle from sagging as much.

The upside is that when I do my springs, I will hopefully have access to a lift, right Demon Coyote? ;)

Yes, rear springs. Drop cradle (both sides) or remove LCA (ouch, so many fasteners)?

Drop cradle a bit.

The only reason we put to remove LCA in our instructions is, because OEMs do it that way - it keeps the alignment right when servicing the rear coil springs (does not move cradle)

Dropping cradle down is super easy. I drop the cradle down until the threads are engage approx 1/4"....then remove a bolt on the side I am working on. This gives you the ability to push the cradle down a little if the drop isn't enough to pop the spring out. ;)

I was lucky and able to bolt up the CB005 dropping one side down, then the other, and zero issues threading the bolts up (so my cradle was well-aligned before). Now I'll definitley have to get it alinged. It's good to do anyway.

Lol it's half way done in terms of assembly, almost there so hopefully it will be ready by then!

what are the lowest BMR springs for the EB?
That would be the SP086 Kit.

If you didnt want to use an 800lb/in rear spring, something that would likely fit the bill better for most EBM applications would be.

SP087 Front
SP082 Rear

I have a few EBM out there with that combo, and they love it.
