Yep 5w 30 is what the dealers will be using. I've still got some more 5w20 as i bought it at a good price, once I run out I'll get 5w30. I'm not sure, the difference between the two is pretty negligible

I think my left-over 5W20 will get mixed with the next purchase of 5W30I've still got some more 5w20 as i bought it at a good price, once I run out I'll get 5w30. I'm not sure, the difference between the two is pretty negligible
haha I'll be doing the same!I think my left-over 5W20 will get mixed with the next purchase of 5W30
That indeed is going to be a real asset. Maybe it's time to start a sticky thread and add 'confirmed' oils by dealerships, Ford, independent mechanics and such....I think we should have a list of what is compatible or not and what meet specs
Agreed would be nice for users to know what's approved for use and what's not.I think we should have a list of what is compatible or not and what meet specs
$300 for labour ? or including oil and oil filter ?Had my oil check light come on at 5600km - off to my dealership and over 300 dollars for an oil change.
WTF!!
Needless to say I wont be going back there again
