I have a 17 Raptor on order with my dealer. Told them I'm not paying a dime over MSRP. We'll see what happens when it comes in. Part of me wants to wait till the 18MY so the bugs are worked out.

I own a 2014 Roush w/600HP and full exhaust, and plan on adding the GT350. I think the V8 Roush Raptor is one of the best sounding vehicles I've ever had, period, to include Mustangs, Cobras, Corvettes, BMW's, etc. One of the things I love about the GT350? The sound is amazing and has the chassis to back it up!

So, on to the 2017 Raptor.... Just an absolute crappy sounding truck from what I've heard so far. Most of the V8 purists on the Raptor forums are reluctant to go to a V6 truck with a crappy sounding motor. I for one plan on keeping my 2014 for a long time.

I can deal with the sound since it will outperform the previous gen in every way.

Seriously thinking about it, my dealer getting 2 of them. If I do I would need to sell my 15 GT/PP though. I got a lot of time and $ in that car. My wife is great but I don't think she's going for a 16 GT 350, a 15 GT/PP as she knows how much $ I put in it and a Raptor.

Not a '17 Raptor, maybe not ever a Ford again

Dealer told me they want $10k over. I'm going to wait.

Curious if anyone else has been considering a 2017 Raptor over the GT350. With the recent talk of the GT350 being extended into the next 2-3 years, my hope of getting the one I want at MSRP is growing, however...

I can also order a 2017 Raptor at MSRP through my dealer right now. The vehicle would be my daily driver in either case, but I've always been a Mustang guy and have driven a Mustang through the last 7 winters in Michigan. Now I'm 31 and my brain is looking at the practicality/versatility of a truck vs. the sports car.

Has anyone "gotten their fill" out of the GT350 and would be okay trading it for a new Raptor, or would it be a regret for you? And no...having both is not an option for me lol.

I was contemplating raptor for quite some time but since I would probably never use the bed or tow anything, opted for a Wrangler Rubicon 2015, more fun to me.

If I was shopping for a pickup, would definitely be my first choice.

Don't fret... I'll take an allocation.
I thought about it just to have one next to the '14 with low miles on it so I've got a last year of the previous run and a first of the new run but I just can't bring myself to do it... I'd never drive it because I wouldn't enjoy it and all the vehicles I have I got because I enjoy driving them. Still have first dibs on the first one to hit the lot here but I've already told them it will most likely be a pass. The pushed hard to get me to take an allocation when I ordered the 350.
