Unless the numbers were a reference to the standard 3.5L EB V6 in the base F150s I am not sure.
I can say this though I sure as hell would not want the 5.2 voodoo in the raptors. Lugging around a 5500lb truck on 35' tires would be a dog using the 5.2, plus I think the harshness of what the truck has to be capable of & the voodoo's natural vibrations eliminate it quickly. Now if were talking the 5.2 crossplane crank V8 then im all ears.
Still going to wait until after this winter to decide if I am going to get a 17-18 raptor. My 14 is still running plenty strong for now

I wanted to get the Raptor, but I got a killer deal on my trade-in and $2,000 in rebates, so I couldn't pass it up. Plus I didn't want to wait for another year or so for the new Raptor to come out. (I ordered my truck last fall, Raptor comes out this fall.)
Some pics of your Roush truck please! If I had known that they were going to supercharge it, I would have waited and gotten the Roush truck instead. I had my truck already ordered when the news and info came out.
Would have gone great with my 2013 Gotta Have It Green Roush Stage 3!

Got a call from my dealer today asking me if I wanted to go ahead and order a raptor and I told him I am going to hold off until spring and see then.
I too would like to see this raptor Ranger. The first vehicle I bought at a dealer was a ranger back in the mid 80's. Was a dog, but I loved that truck. I kept my little bass tracker 2 man bass boat in the back... Hit a lot of ponds with that set up.
I have a Tacoma as well, and I just don't see much of a reason to get rid of it. Since 2010 I had a red one a black and now a 13 silver. I usually only spend about 5K to upgrade every couple years, which aint bad. Don't know...I may try to put 300K on this one. I only have 30K on it now!

I thought they were building as many as possible? My dealer doesnt charge adm on anything... so this would be msrp.
