Blinder and Laser Interceptor no longer update their systems. The only ones that do are ALP.

And I wouldn't hold my breath on Escort updating the LSP (rebadged Laser Interceptor). They never updated the ZR4 shifters and those were well known to not perform well.
ZR4's weren't software updatable so not sure what you're talking about there..?

Ahh, correct. I misspoke. I should have said the ZR Series, since they did move from the ZR3 to the ZR4.

That being said, yes, the LSP system is updatable since it is merely a re-branded Laser Interceptor system. But have they ever released an update? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the folks at LI still have not updated the system to defeat the DALA/VPR guns.

VPR guns dont have wide adoption at this point. Escort owns probably 85% of the market.. when adoption of vpr/dragoneye technology is used across a wider range of states/counties then theyll push an update. Trust me, its not like they dont have the technology/capability to defeat VPR guns.. seems more like a strategic business decision to hold off until more agencies invest in the VPR technology before escort officially kills it... think about it ;)

Yeah. That is basically just a warning that you just got a ticket. So just pull over and take it. The jammer is on my list of things. Nice compliment to my Escort Maxx.

From a financial standpoint, it makes sense. But I'd rather go with the company that sends me updates often to keep me up to date. You never know when the local PD might pick up a set of VPR guns.
