Did you purchase whilst on special? I did the rounds a while ago and pricing WAS actually quite competitive. Except Rides by Kam. Avoid avoid.:eyebulge:
He also has a listing on eBay... call it $7,500 or something. And that's V2, not height sensing or anything porno like that.

Thanks Peter, it seems that I might've accidentally ordered some Air Lift stuff from EBay...
For the record, bag riders wanted $500 USD to ship the rears ALONE. eBay was $200 AUD
So, with the 25% off at the moment (month of Feb) and much cheaper shipping, I pushed all the wrong buttons and made an offer. Which was accepted....:eyebulge:
Wife is going to shoot me. :ninja:
If anyone's needs me, I'll be living in the shed :headbang:
PMSL...I have one of those sheds!

Without dominating another mans thread too much, here's some info for those who may be considering bags as an actual thing.
As mentioned previously, Air Lift are doing 25% off for the month of Feb, as best as I can work out, this applies to ALL dealers.
So, when I jumped on eBay I found the seller with the cheapest shipping (UPS priority) and asked for the discounted price (can find the actual discounted price @ Bagriders).
Jay @ Dotcomparts (EBay) has been awesome. He had no issue with matching the price and he's been replying to my emails as promptly as you could expect a person on the other side of the planet. All good so far.
I'll be detailing my install and observations in a separate thread, mostly because the path I'm choosing is somewhat different to Peters. A starter kit of sorts.

Nope just the everyday price. I crunched the numbers and freight was an absolute killer plus the fact that customs start slugging you when it's that much money. Of course I then had to spend another $300 on a tank that fits. i suppose I can sell off the supplied tank but they really should refund my money.

Can we talk about nutserts for a minute?
I've only used fairly large ones in the past (8mm >). They were damned hard to compress with a hand tool. Ended up using an air tool.
I've just ordered some 10mm P clips and it looks like I could use a 4mm bolt to secure them. Had a look on eBay and there's plenty of cheap kits with a tool almost identical to your basic pop rivet gun.
Likelihood of a 4mm rivnut giving me grief with a cheap tool like that?

I used M5 with that Eclipse hand tool with no trouble and that with stainless nutserts. Like I said before, you can make yourself a tool for larger stuff pretty easy. Then you use a ratchet handle for heapsa grunt.
You can also get the larger ones done with the Eclipse tool by doing the process in increments i.e. Don't go with setting they suggest for the full stroke. Adjust tool so the handles are more closed up to start then bring it out for the next bite and so on.

More questions Peter...
What sort of pressure are you running in the tank at max?
Can the tank inflate the bags from being aired out to full height without the compressor kicking in? Eg. If I was to grab the Specialty tank (that you hate) and fill it with air, could I air out at a car show for example and then use the tank to gain ride height again (no compressor)?
I'm just playing with some ideas is all

I think it's 150psi. And yes I believe it can lift the car with just the air in the tank.
