I don’t really pay much attention to the draggy’s DA calculation. I look up my area on airdensityonline.com

Your under sea level? Nice run. What Whp are you making.71* day, 51% humidity, +750ft DA. 3rd gear 6r80 starting from about 55mph
exactly why I don’t like their calculations. I think most of my area is 10-15ft above sea level. Last time on the dyno was low low 800sYour under sea level? Nice run. What Whp are you making.
Your making steam for low 800s.exactly why I don’t their calculations. I think most of my area is 10-15ft above sea level. Last time on the dyno was low low 800s
edited the weather data. I had looking at wrong line. 67* and 56% humidity +500ft
Does it tend to be off quite a bit? Is it always in one direction or is it random?I don’t really pay much attention to the draggy’s DA calculation. I look up my area on airdensityonline.com
random numbers. If im gonna use a data point id like it to be precise. More than anything air density online gives you more important things than temperature. Humidity and water grains are way more important than plain ambient temp.Does it tend to be off quite a bit? Is it always in one direction or is it random?
I made that argument some time back. Water grains and humidity take the place of oxygen. I'm from the Airline world. They hamper the preformance of piston engines greatly. Dragy doesn't take that into acount.random numbers. If im gonna use a data point id like it to be precise. More than anything air density online gives you more important things than temperature. Why wouldn't we just use the actual oxygen content per volume? (i.e. oxygen density)? So whether it's displaced by gaseous water or reduced by temperature or increased by pressure, the ultimate end goal is to evaluate how much O2 the motor is taking in with every liter/cubic foot.I made that argument some time back. thank you.Your car is fookin sorted out dude. Got damn. Impressive!!
