You mean how the GT350 was produced from 1965 to 1970?Ford is dicking it up....Stop the gt350 production like it should be (2yrs per original history) and start the gt500 back up.....damn
I read the info as 2018 GT350 has no changes from 2017MY which has been suggested in earlier posts.....so a 2018 GT would get a facelift, but the GT350 would stay the same.OK, riddle me this:
2015 = all new body
late 2015 = GT350 comes out on new body/platform w/ specific GT350 body parts
2016 model year=GT350 produced, unchanged.
2017 model year=GT350 produced, no changes
Jan 2017 = new 2018 body style released
Feb 2017 = new, re-worked GT350 to fit with new 2018 re-design?
That seems not very probable.
Apart from the 2012/2013 GT500, I can't think of another time Ford kept a special model across a body refresh...and in the instance of 2012/13, the 2013 regular mustangs got the GT500 bodywork to start with. So it's a little different.
I'm dying to find out.
Wht I read into the contract extension for the plant that produces the 5.2: This doesn't guarantee that the GT350 will continue, only that the engine will, in CPC format for their racing program, and possible in a Mach/Cobra variant.
Look above on that screen shot. It's option 3.....so not impossible ;)WTF? So this means one of the following.
1) MY 2018 is not getting a refresh
2) MY 2018 regular mustangs will have the GT350 body-work (like 2013 mustangs)
3) MY 2018 will get refreshed, but 2018 GT350 will have the old body? (Impossible)
Makes no sense.
I take that to mean that the 2018 refresh will simply be the 2015-17 GT350 bodywork.Look above on that screen shot. It's option 3.....so not impossible ;)
Well....I read that as the '18MY (Ecoboost/GT) will get a refresh, but the '18MY GT350 will carryover as is from the '17MYI take that to mean that the 2018 refresh will simply be the 2015-17 GT350 bodywork.
This is the way it will be!Well....I read that as the '18MY (Ecoboost/GT) will get a refresh, but the '18MY GT350 will carryover as is from the '17MY
