I was having a very hard time deciding between the lightning blue and Magnetic. Magnetic won.

Order put in 4/12. Info from Deysha, many kudos. Based on last 4 there are 21 ahead of it if they go in order. Don't care if they keep it awhile and make sure it's right. 900A with electronics, so should have all the bugs worked out. Buuuut...have to confirm with dealer.

Hopefully, that's good news for me, too, since I ordered three days after you...

Please read through some of the threads and learn from the MY16 folks, order date and build allocation/priority is not at all related. Some got cars in a few months, some waited 8months+. You'll save yourself a lot of potential heart ache and anxiety =)

Not to rain on the parade, but if you're getting a VIN this early, it might mean they're going to produce the car before main production and keep your car for a while for QA. There's plenty of early production customers that know them feels of your produced car sitting at Flat Rock for months.

Good point as I ordered my 2015 on June 5th and had a VIN shortly thereafter and did not receive my car until January 11th, 2016.

Shortly thereafter I then ordered a 2016 920A car on July 6th and got a VOC the next day and got a VIN within 4 weeks and did not receive my R model until early March 2016 so sometimes the earlier the VOC on your car sometimes the later you will receive it.:headbonk:

My 2015 was assembled on July 21st, 2015 and sat for at least 5 months in Flat Rock before it shipped.

I hope that I have more luck with respect to the assembly and delivery timeline for my 2017 R model?

I'm believing that is the case - since I'm unable to get past the fist page entering only my name, order and dealer #'s... but those who have VINs are accessing it.

Awesome, but why in the heck did your dealer give you priority 19. If u r paying over MSRP for the car I would have a talk with the dealer, thats BS.

I didn't see this until now. I went back and asked him to change it to priority 10. Deal is at MSRP.

Priority 10 didn't help me any with my first two cars and I don't expect it to help with the 2017.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the timeline as far as when VIN's, VOC's, priority code and when our cars will arrive at least from what I can see.

Having said that I am just so grateful to be able to drive one of these great cars I therefore the timeline is not that big of a deal to me but certainly understand how it means a lot to others especially if they have a cold and ugly winter when we can't drive these great cars.

Yeah, I think that's what a normal priority number is, #19.
I don't think anyone is gonna get a leg up unless your put in a 1 position

I agree that there is no rhyme or reason for who gets their cars sooner. Its all based on allocations, and if you give a push to the ford rep, thru your dealer.

I don't understand why some peoples cars sit for months going nowhere tho. No reason for that at all... get them babies loaded up!

I am priority 10 at my dealership. It's always summer where I live so a long wait till delivery won't bother me.
