2015 Mustang V6 Brake light won't shut off after i turn off the car

Yesterday, when I was driving on the freeway, every time I tried accelerating up higher it would let me accelerate for a minute and then start decelerating. When I turned off my car, my rear brake light won't shut off, even after I shut down the car and locked it with the key fob. I had to dislocate the battery so it wouldn't lose power. I heard that there's a recall on this and that the two things go hand in hand but until I can get it to fords service dept. I need a temporary solution. Can anybody help me?

Make sure your clutch or brake pedal "bumper pads" are not missing or deteriorated ....
