2015 Mustang convertibles

I placed and order for a mustang convertible on October 18th. Later the
dealer told me it was in Preview. Has anyone heard when convertible
production will begin?

Well, if they haven't started manufacturing them for the US market yet what hope have we Brits got of seeing them before the end of next year!

Sounds like a design problem, hope they figure out a fix quit. Verts were to be 25% of production.:doh:

The majority of us (on this forum) who ordered them just had them built and are waiting on shipment , are just now getting them built, or waiting on them to go to build. Mine has a build date of 12/15 but that is subject to change.

Looks like delivery after Xmas. Hope they get the leak problem fixed.

Mine has apparently cleared any QC checkpoints and is now in transit. Woo-hoo! I am looking at an EDD of 12/4 at the moment.

I'm not too worried. Ford's been making verts for a long time and I haven't had a leaker yet!

I got inside info on my personal car as to why it was held in the factory.

Same guy told me why verts are sitting.

Ok here is info on 2015 Mustang Built on 11/13 Shipped on 11/14 Car had Minor Issues 1. Right Door Fit 2. Brake Fluid Fail cause wasn't filled at Brake Fill Station and that's y it is considered a Fail 3. Crossmember Torque Fail cause bolts weren't torqued at station ***ALL these issues were taken care of after it came off the line and these are minor NO Major issues

Anyone else privy to that kind of info????? Nope. Not even the "famed" Rachel

I live and work in the area where the cars are built. Have tons of family that work for ford, you think I can't find inside info?
My father in law retired from the auto alliance plant ( yea, that's right, it's not a ford plant)
He got me in the building and walked a portion of the assembly line during shift change, looking for my car.

What's your "in" to laugh at me?

Hoping and praying I'm wrong....... But I'm not. I saw the verts sitting, NONE outside. And not once have I seen one on transport or in a convoy driving to the train yard on sibley and i275. I see them everyday. And that's one of the train yards used A LOT

I have 3 GT Verts that were supposed to be at my dealership this week. Just looked on Ford's VV and now they're showing ETA's in January. WTF.
