took a minute but my son was able to get correct wheel bearing to fit OD of TCP spindle with ID of Wilwood rotor. Lots of surprises when mixing and matching parts from different vendors. Thanks to TCP for their help.

I parted out my 68 fastback around 1978…stupid decision. Sold off some parts, engine went to my Snap On dealer for like four open end wrenches 😃 and the rest went to the scrap yard. My buddy who gave this 68 project to my son had a bunch of parts in storage. I didn’t remember I gave him the wooden steering wheel from my 68. It’s been sitting for the last 45 years in his garage attic! My son wants to use this for his build. I’m happy he wants to do that. This build is coming full circle.

Hope your 2021 doesn’t feel neglected. Looks amazing Bob. Your tenacity inspires me. Can’t wait to see it finished. Pure labor of love.

Thanks IPOGT! All my son's doing....I'm just cheap labor and financial support.... 😀 and its taking up space in my garage and basement:cwl: Hoping by some time in the next year I can actually park the 21 next to it. My son just ordered master cylinder and brake lines. Wants to get it rolling shortly.

Got the brake lines installed and bled. We used Classic Tubes stainless lines as a starting point but needed to modify to fit with the Wilwood components. Bought a new Eastwood double flaring tool which worked great.

That’s going to to be something to be cherished. The attention to detail is obvious. What color are you planning?

With as much work, time, $$$, and dedication you have into this ride - I hope you have it properly insured on an Agreed Value policy. Some Collector Car policies will cover project cars (as well as stored parts up to a certain value). Just putting it out there for those watching along, because it’s an important aspect for any Automotive Enthusiast who have a lot wrapped up into a years long build.

The project is looking awesome; it has come a long way and I’m sure you’re super excited about it being on the ground at this stage!
