I'm going on 9 weeks since I ordered my black plates from the DMV. How long did it take you guys to get your notification in the mail that they were available for pick-up?

Doing this through AAA is so fast and efficient...it's too bad they don't make the plates, too :headbonk:

Going on week 14.....:frusty:....and now I hear they don't even send you the plates in the mail anymore. You have to go to DMV to pick them up:headbonk:

mine took about 9 weeks. Looks SWEET, though. Well worth the wait.

I just get annoyed when I see random crap on the road with them...I've seen a Volvo, Jeep Compass, Ford Fusion, and Toyota Camry with them. Makes it seem less cool :(
