Badass Mike. I do notice you say nothing about returning the parts...lol

Personally, I'd like to see some runs w/ Cobb's tune...but I'm sure that won't happen...

I have a Cobb tune and I'd like to take my car to the strip.

Sadly, the quarter miles nearby are all closed for winter... many sads.

I'm pretty excited to see what you do with yours. How's this car do at the strip? What's your best time? 60ft? Stock PP tires?

I'm a non PP auto with Goodyear Eagle F1's. My best time, tune only, I'd wager would maybe be low 13's if I'm lucky and if I get some good track time under my belt. Then again I'm being a pure skeptic.

With my Cobb tune, I can stall at ~3k no problem.. I haven't tried any higher.

Oh, hes right. I have the Cobb tune also and was able to foot brake it to 3k with no problem with t/c turned off. Now with the stock tune itd start to spin the tires.

Alright. So it seems to build 4.5 to 5psi of boost before it breaks the tires loose

I just tested mine. By very carefully braking it up, I was able to get close to 3k and build 10 psi. It takes technique for sure.

Mike
Sweet! now get to the track and get that mid 12 :D

I am pretty confident it would run that tonight. It is dry as a bone and in the 40s. I wish the track was open!

Mike
Nice! Seriously stoked to see your results and how your car progresses. I won't be able to hit the track for months:( stupid rainy cold PNW:frusty:

I honestly am very happy with the 6R80. My GTI had a dual clutch.

Overall I love this car lol
