10 quarts or 8 quarts

Sorry if this has been asked before...
I have read several places where they state from Ford that my 2016 Mustang used 8 quarts of oil. However a lot of people are saying to use 10 quarts of oil. I am just a tad confused, but which is it?

The 2015-2017 Mustang GTs had the Gen 2 Coyote. The Gen 2 Coyote took 8 quarts of oil.

The 2018+ Mustang GTs have the Gen 3 Coyote. The Gen 3 Coyote takes 10 quarts of oil.

Thank you, this makes so much more sense... I forgot there was a Gen 3 for 2018, and I did not realize they increased the oil capacity... I kept on reading where people were complaining that the dealer was not using 10 quarts and only getting 8 etc, and I was just not tracking for some reason.
