well i guess that answers the question of whether axle backs would be available... i know there was some question due to so many of the promo cars having the whole system welded

Can we assume that Ford Racing parts installed by a Ford dealer will not effect warranty? That would be my main reason for not doing anything mechanical on the car, but the short throw and lower springs would be great. Thanks for the info!

Yes - the question has been answered. It's a CATback system, not just mufflers The general feeling was it was going to be more involved than the S197 exhaust changes, where many people simply changed the mufflers ("axleback systems") because of having clamps instead of welds.

I think the big thing that will happen in the aftermarket systems is removal of the crossover section, the "suitcase" as some have termed it. That's likely a big part of the weight, in addition to influencing the sound. It will be interesting to see as these systems are released what happens there.

If the supercharger kit needs to be installed at a dealer can it be financed through ford? Thank You
