your one is a great price, but not really sure I need it to be honest
I have a voice that tells me if i am going over the speed limit on the free Tom Tom cameras which also gives me the Speed Cameras which the Sat Nav dont.
My Sync 2 sat nav gives me the speed cameras.

Just checked the manual, cant see it on the Sync 3
For the speed cameras it would need constant updates?
TT would update every few weeks, and the TT speed cameras app updates all the time as you are driving.

My Sync 2 also has camera warning and it seems upto date as its not missed one yet on my travels. You do have to turn it on though in NAV options. :)

It's called warnings or something, Mines got them, and I'm pretty sure robbob144 's had them on it when we were cruising to Northampton

Needless to say, myself, rob, mac, Guy and gibbo when his car wasn't spewing were on a little spirited drive :first:

Yep, Hazards
will have to have another look tonight

from the US
hazard alerts on in the nav settings you will get speed camera warnings. Doesn't update itself though obviously.

Makes sense as it can only update from wifi, and if it did it would tell you
;)
cant see it in the manual, maybe they have taken it away for the Sync 3? who knows with Ford

turning on hazard alerts with sync 3 :)
yea thanks
but the interesting thing is, when it says certain countries, I don't have it. Wonder if it's because the computer was set up for Canada?
I wonder what countries it is that it's not allowed
But it's no biggie, does not pick up the mobile cameras. And I like the Tom Tom Cameras picks up everything, mind you what with
Dashcam, Sat Nav, Tom Tom cameras that's 3 female voices and when Steph is in the car that's 4 :eyebulge:

Hi there

OK I guess this is long overdue, I thought I should trial fit the replacement wheels I got a couple of months ago from MRR:

Camera does not really pick up brushed effect but its just phone camera, when they are on the car (few weeks) I shall take proper pictures.

But the colour contrast against magnetic is what I wanted and they are super light in weight too. :)

Also I left the spacer on for those pictures, of course that 23mm spacer shall be removed as will the 15mm rears.

Can't wait to see and drive the car on these, also am really trying to sort out some two-piece disc locally for the front which save 3kg per side, the wheels save nearly 5kg per corner, so it will be nearly 30kg of unsprung mass removed from the car by the time I finished, so more like 60-90kg out the car.

Should be warmer, so hoping to crack some sub 4.5s 0-60 and sub 10s 0-100 times off and re-visit the strip and see if I can master my launch technique on that stick surface. :)

Oh and apologies for the absolutely filthy and disgusting car, it has since being washed and is super shiny again.

P.S. I dislike centre caps, would rather stock black with silver pony, will see if stock fit, if not will see if MRR have some for sale or can sort me some. :)

They look great. Tyres are bit low profile for me :D
What width and offset are they? (Sorry if you've already posted that).
Front is 20x10" ET40 which I shall wrap in 275-285/35/20
Rear is 20x11" ET55 which I shall wrap in 295-305/35/20

Wonder if my stock centre caps fit as I prefer those, otherwise need to see if MRR sell different centre caps, would rather just a stock black Ford/Pony design.

Just a wheel in a boot:

Getting a tyre done a day, will hope to fit weekend or sometime next week. :)
The 275 width Michelin fits lovely on 10" wide wheel, no signs of stretch.

Hi there

Well I survived another day, literally fighting for my life every time I drive the Mustang now, maybe I should just do as I did with M3, strip the air bags, fit a cage. :D

Joke! ;)

Anyway I fitted my front wheels this morning, planned to do over weekend but with a forecast of freezing and constant rain, I decided to still be frozen but at least dry and do them this morning.

Some pictures, not the best, crap weather, dirty car etc:

So very happy with the offset, nearly flush which is what I wanted as I did not want to be flush and most definitely no poke, I am a hater of poke.

Unfortunately I made a bit of a boo boo, first of all I ordered black wheel lugs instead of chrome but even worse the front MPSS are runflats. :(
Still I think I quite like the black lug nuts, what do others think?

When I fitted them I was thinking why is there no XL rating, then noticed they had re-inforced on them instead which I assume is runflats. In the first five minutes of driving I could certainly feel this as well, more road feel, maybe a good thing I guess but at the same time the ride is a touch harsher on the front, but seems better damped which I put down to the fact 5-6kg has being shed from each corner.

Good news is the pair of tyres were £25 of a buddy, they have 6mm so will do for now, grip seems fine but I've not tried pushing as it was -2c and wet/icy this morning but the cars turn in seemed fine.

I am hoping to upgrade to PS4 S anyway and size up marginally to a 285/35/20 on the front (None run flat) as current tyre is 275/35/20 so cannot see it being any issue looks or ride wise going slightly wider on front. For reference Shelby GT 350 runs 295 and 305 or 305 and 315 front and rear, so I will be doing 285 and 295 so it should not upset the cars traction control or anything, but I shall double check with the US guys.

Looks wise, well for me my stock wheels re-painted looked gorgeous and these also look stunning, but I cannot pick a winner, people who have seen them so far also are the same shocked initially at first how much more silver they are but then really like the design and extra size. So in short for me the looks are the same, the bonus is less weight and wheel spacers gone goodbye. :)

The rears are not fitted yet:

This is because I need to remove the longer studs and re-fit stock ones, much longer job and its too cold for that, so XJK Jaguar Specialist are sorting for me on Monday. Fingers crossed the 295/35/20 rears are not run flat haha as I got them for £50 of a mate with a Porsche, £50 bargain as he changes out at 4mm and they will last me until PS4 S is hopefully made available, if not I will just sling some new MPSS on the back or check what other tyres are available come spring.

I think in hindsight maybe a tinted laquer on these wheels would have softened the sharp silver colour a little, but at the same time the car is filthy and the wheels are spotless so really stand out and some road use will darken them up and when car is washed and all clean and shiny will be fine. The thing I love is when walking upto the car the wheels really look insanely expensive and premium. Will get some proper pictures once rears are on and hopefully the sun comes out to play. :)

P.S. I prefer factory centre caps, will try fitting if do not fit will see if its possible to get some and I think the black lugs work quite well so maybe that mistake paid off. :)
