Auto EB, 20k on the clock. Steady at 9.4. Down to 7.4 on a trip to Sydney. Very few city k's, but lots of short trips, and I like to floor it sometimes.

I've got 3300 on the clock and average is about 18l/100 Not good. Average week the 80kms to empty comes on about 290kms but it only takes about 50l. It probably costs me 410 a week more than a v6 commondore so I'll suck it up BUT damn I wish I could average about 13-14....

I've only done 800 odd on mine and averaging around 13-15 l/km
Done a mixture of freeway and urban. Seems abit low for a new engine

Averaging 11.8 at 1800 kms. I do occasionally put my foot down but I'm not driving it hard until 3000 comes up. Certainly not slow tho.

I'm 2000km in and averaging 13.5. Not too bad, I don't drive too economically. And find it hard not to give it a spurt at least once per tank. Bought the car to have fun I figure.
I,m at 1700km and doing about the same 12L /100
did a 400km trip the other weekend to put some miles on the clock
100 - 110 kmh returned 9.3L/100

did a run up the highway in the open speed zone got 25L /100
for a 270km trip (thirsty bugger)

Weird, I've got an auto GT that's just clicked over 3,000km in 3 months (hasn't been in for the first "peace of mind" service yet) and I was just saying to myself that the fuel economy is starting to improve! It was terrible right up until about a couple of weeks ago, I would get between 280km - 300km out of 54L - 57L fill-ups. In the last couple of weeks I have been getting 310km - 330km out of a full tank and have made no change to driving (almost all city km). I bought it to enjoy it, so drive with a pretty heavy foot, but I'm hoping the stats keep trending downwards from here now that she's bedded in!! :-)

just got back today from a 1500km road trip and averaged 12l/100km of mainly fairly spirited driving on secondary roads in Victoria, ACT, and NSW. Car now on 3100km - s/ charged manual. Fairly happy with the consumption although not something hat I worry about too much.

LOL, mine were at 25-30 for the first week or two, then dropped off to about 17-19 depending on how heavy my foot is - can't wait to crack 3000ks and see it drop to 12!

Took the GT auto to Stanthorpe - the coldest town in Queensland - and Tenterfield. Managed a low of 7.9 and averaged 8.5 over 350 klm. Quite weird watching the distance to empty actually increasing.

Absolutely loved the heated seats in the 0 to 12 degree freeze.

I'm only 250kms in (hey, it's only been a week) and its come down from 30l/100km to 19.9l/100km. It's frightening to imagine it could stay like this, but I'll be happy if it gets down to 15l/100kms. 12l/100kms seems like a dream!

I'm just about to click over 15,000km and go in for my first proper service on Monday.

My average for that 15,000km is 12.2L (about 480km per tank), best I've seen was a run to Wagga and back from Sydney when newish and got down to 8.8L when sitting at 115km/h. Of course its all dependant on where and how you drive. Around Sydney CBD it'll go high teens and higher if I'm sticking the boot in.

The first 3,000km definitely had a higher usage and then creeps down.

Anyone got a worse average than 19.5l/100km? Not that I really care about that, I just wish we got a bigger tank haha
Tank could definitely be another 10-15L bigger for those country runs!

Averaging about 18L/100 since picking up the car, done bit over 4k now. Not daily driven and rarely sees traffic.
