I had the opposite experience to most. My economy number came down after the first couple of weeks driving my auto GT, and were reasonably consistent at around 15l/100km until my 3000km service. I don't know what they did at that service, or whether it's a coincidence, but since then my economy...
Hi all
Here's another report slamming Ford.
http://m.drive.com.au/motor-news/shocking-twostar-crash-result-for-ford-mustang-20170124-gty2ok.html
It's certainly a surprise to me and far from good news. I for one assumed the car I was buying was safer than this. Will it make me sell? Hell no.
I haven't posted in this thread since I got my Mustang, with front sensors arranged by my NZ dealer from a local third party supplier. The sensors are excellent and fit flush in the same way as the circle for the tow attachment. I have an audio alarm and lights fitted in the middle of the dash...
Hi all
Has anyone had their carpet split to show a flap with the VIN number underneath the front of the drivers seat? It's just happened to me after less than three months with my car. My dealer is blaze and says the carpet just needs to be pushed back in place and it can be held down with...
I've had mine for three months now. The interior IS cheap, and the plastic scuffs like crazy. The panels in the carpet are also an unpleasant surprise. Mine opened up this week so the car has to go back to the dealer.
Does this make me regret buying the car? Not at all. I agree with the person...
I'm only 250kms in (hey, it's only been a week) and its come down from 30l/100km to 19.9l/100km. It's frightening to imagine it could stay like this, but I'll be happy if it gets down to 15l/100kms. 12l/100kms seems like a dream!
Collected my car yesterday. 42kms on the clock which seemed high. Panel alignment was good and my dealer said they'd gone through the check items I warned them about. I couldn't find any big issues. I'm not happy with a wire showing behind the aftermarket front parking sensor display I got the...
Awesome. I am too. Dealer is going to call me tomorrow but said I might get my car as early as Wednesday. I'm doubtful, but hopefully Friday might be realistic. It's funny, now it's almost here I'm more relaxed about it taking longer, on the basis the dealer spends more time getting everything...
I saw my MY17 car for the first time today. The bump is bigger than I was expecting but not prominent (like the fin in BMWs) and didn't concern me, despite being nervous it would. Overall, I think we can relax.
I wouldn't be confident. I got told about 10 days from wharf to pick up, but Parsifal dropped cars in Auckland on Saturday and when I asked my dealer today how the clean up and mods are going he said it's still on the wharf! Not f'ing happy to waste five days with the car doing nothing, as itis...
Nice work Mitch, she looks very familiar.
I foolishly promised my dealer I wouldn't badger him to see my car before it's ready. Every day now is agony knowing its in Auckland somewhere.
Please do, as it will be really helpful for all of us yet (but soon) to take delivery. Hopefully you find it looks better in person when you get home. DIB looks good in the photos you've posted so far.
