  1. Battery troubles...

I'm interested in a battery recommendation as well. I've got serious troubles starting the car after this last winter and need to get a new battery - but I want something with a little more capacity than the stock battery. I've been looking at this...
  2. First Service Check

Did mine earlier this month. 4900 km after seven months, all that was required was an oil change, but that cost me 350 Euros. I did get a Focus RS as a courtesy car though!
  3. PP Pirelli Front Tires Last longer then Rear...

I'd really like to see the feasibility of putting on MPSS rears once these go out. I know you're not supposed to mix manufacturers but I can't in good honesty defend replacing good front tyres, and I'd hate to spend money on new tyres for the rear and not get better ones... Conundrums, conundrums.
  4. Daily Chat Topic Europe

I'd be very surprised if that last part is true. But yeah, the seat leather wears a lot more than it should, that's for sure. But I agree with you, I see Mustangs everywhere now. I'm not even the only one in my neighborhood parking lot anymore, there's a Competition Orange parked really close...
  5. PP Pirelli Front Tires Last longer then Rear...

I strongly urge you not to do this. You could damage your front with the wider wheels. Look what happened to Edmunds: http://www.edmunds.com/ford/mustang/2015/long-term-road-test/2015-ford-mustang-gt-source-of-mysterious-noise-identified.html During their long term test. They inadvertently...
  6. Mustang GT Power Packs

Voiding my warranty makes it a nonstarter for me unfortunately. I just can't understand why they can't support the car globally if they sell it globally.
  7. Trading mustang in for focus RS

I owned a Mk1 RS, and own an S550 now. I test drove an RS quite extensively the other day, and wrote a thread about it: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62800 See if it helps your decision making. The jist of it is, I don't regret choosing the Mustang over the RS (I cross...
  8. Mustang GT vs Focus RS

Coming from a Mk1 Focus RS owner, and huge RS Ford fan, I ended up here for a reason. I've test driven the new RS though and it is a totally competent car with lots of connection and engagement for the driver. You wouldn't be sorry buying one, truly. But there's no replacement for a good old...
  9. Getting a GT......decisions decisions

I ordered mine in May of 2015, back then there was only one pack, the 'Custom Pack' which had the bright wheels and the chrome surround. The only other alternative was buying certain options separately and I didn't value GPS enough to pay that much ;)
  10. Getting a GT......decisions decisions

I chose to not get the premium, or, custom, pack, for the very reason of a black window surround and black wheels. Got the car cheaper, and honestly, don't miss the details.
  11. '16 Mustang GT PP vs. '12 E92 M3 Competition Pack

As a former E90 M3 guy (manual four-door), I wholeheartedly concur with your findings. The engine of the M3 revs higher and reacts faster, but has lots less torque and doesn't feel as 'punchy'. The M3 feels smaller, lighter and faster, and the steering rack and suspension communicate with...
  12. Focus RS test drive by a Mustang and former RS owner

Yesterday, it was time for my 2016 Mustang GT to go in for its first oil change and service, and the good folks att Upplands Motor in Stockholm made sure I was well entertained while waiting for the work to be done, by giving me a little under an hour in a brand new Focus RS! Exterior...
  13. Any pics of S550's with a NASCAR style rear spoiler?

I tried to go through the big spoiler thread, but it's filled with really nice, painted, sculpted, spoilers, rear wings and so on, which have a variation in the spoiler length along the rear, to match the taillight assembly and so on. I've been entertaining the thought lately of seeing if...
  14. Is the upgraded interior REAL leather?

The front wheels really seem to kick up dirt into the wheel well and all over the side of the car. Almost like it's a front wheel drive car. Ten minutes after you wash it it looks like a Subaru rally car again. It's just no use keeping up. Those hips act like giant mud scoops too, as you said...
  15. Is the upgraded interior REAL leather?

It's not a 'car wash' per se, just two and a half minutes of cold water from a high pressure nozzle ;) Just wash the worst of the mud off. But yeah, I mean, there's no way I'm waxing or detailing the car, life is too short to get sweaty over something that's just going to get dirty again...
  16. Is the upgraded interior REAL leather?

I spend about two Euros on a two minute blast of cold water, and that's about it really. I wouldn't dream of cleaning the interior.
  17. The non-constructive frustration thread for those of no hope :)

Congratulations Nordic!! That champagne looks stunning :D I just got a normal bottle, yours was way better. So glad you had a good experience. Now all we have to see is how long it takes for us to run into each other at car meets :D What a great looking car!
  18. The noise

I will lay rose petals in the path of the first person who publishes a 'for dummies' level walkthrough of this procedure.
  19. Mustang - total waste of time?

It's only wasted if you don't enjoy it ;)
  20. Carfection (previously X-Car) review

    Lovely. Thanks for posting!
