Have Blizzak WS80s here and no issues at all, barely even sliding on the ice. I got caught unprepared with the first snow here in Colorado this year and still had summer tires/20s on, couldn't get out of my drive way then.
Since I put my 18s and WS80s on I've been golden. ;)
I daily drive mine and made it through a Colorado winter just fine, though I become a super defensive driver. After the temperature dropped, I threw some snow tires on and put a fair bit of weight in the back (I used several bags of kitty litter. Figured if I did get stuck, I could always use...
I have a base EB auto and notice the same thing occasionally. It seems to happen more often when the engine is cool (in the morning, etc). It's not jarring, but I definitely notice it.
Shifts while driving seem as expected, mostly just P -> D shift.
Just what the guy told me. I don't disagree that it's weak, my car is tuned and like anyone else tuned right now, above what he said they would be doing. If nothing else, hope his numbers were wrong but the release date was right.
I've had mine since October and I've never heard anything that I would consider out of the ordinary in mine, definitely not like a bolt rattling. Pretty piss poor answer from the dealership.
Yeah, was not terribly impressed. I didn't ask what his job title was but he was familiar with the stock levels for all three models, more than anyone at the dealership was when I purchased my EB in October. I've never seen him around the dealership here in town.
Could be that he was on the...
Randomly saw an RS2 with out of state tags parked next to me when I came out of a store earlier today and got to speaking with the gentleman. Turns out it was a demo car he was driving while in town and he works with the folks developing Ford Racing's products for the 2015.
I can't confirm the...
Not the best photos, will update later. Just got them mounted and put on (took forever for the tire shop to get my tires in).
20x10s w/ 275/35/20 in the back, 20x8.5s w/ 255/35/20 in the front.
Car needs lowered now!
Might be a long shot, but from your use of home of record - are you military by chance?
If you are, is there a base anywhere close to your home? Maybe you can park it in long term storage on base, if they have it. Most bases I've been on or passed through had it, for folks on deployment...
You probably won't notice the difference, or if you do it will be slight. I haven't driven my mustang outside the area, but even on previous cars I couldn't really tell a big difference. It may be that the dyno is where you would see it, rather than the seat of your pants.
I've only been here...
AFAIK, just Ford. That's the new GT350. If it isn't available aftermarket, i'm sure it will come along soon now that people have gotten a look at it. :headbang:
Nah, no rental, I just work nearby. I have snow tires on mine right now, though i'm dieing to get these winter tires/rims off and a proper set of tires and rims on. I just know that as soon as I do it, Colorado will bless us with a foot of April snow. ;p
Missed registration here too. Did see GiddyUp15 on Powers this morning though I believe, judging from the plates. First convertible I've seen, looks great!
Forgive the filthy EB. Daily driver and as much as I wash it, this car catches dirt unlike any I've ever driven.:frusty:
Sounds pretty good!
I wonder what effect removing the resonator would have combined with the roush axle-backs. Do you think it would change the tone at all? Or just increase the volume overall?
