these aluminum f150s have no weight over the rear. A 2.7 with a tune will break loose good tires in the rain at 50 mph, or mediocre tires at 40 mph on dry pavement. I can see the 4x4 working but are you going to drive around in 4th all the time?
I suppose it's all the way you drive.

I drove the C8 on track at the NCM a few weeks ago. I think it is an awesome car and I was worried that I would have to trade up to one. My issue is I did get a C8 I would have to get the LT2 level, Z51 upgrades so it would be in the high 80s or low 90s. But after driving it I come away with no, I like my Mach 1 better. This is NOT saying I think the Mack 1 is better, the C8 Z51 is a better car but I donā€™t see me pulling up to my coffer place every day in the a car like that. Too flashy for my and anything I have will be my daily. But I HATED the rear view mirror. I banged my knee getting in and out. (Oldā€”heavy guy). I just low the way you sit in a Mustang. I like the level of sport car look also. ON my way to the Mack 1, I bought an Ecoboost Convertible, a year later traded to a GT convertible, a year later up to the Mach 1. I got the Mach 1 to be able to track it. I have had it for about 2 years and while I do like the DH it would be such a jump in price and there is no pull for me to by. So I just enjoy want I have and wait for my next track weekend.

All this to say, both are awesome cars.

I am looking at deleting Z51 $6345. Adding the good stuff Magnetic shocks (3 modes) $1895. Performance exhaust (3 modes) $1195. $3255 savings. A lot of the other stuff I can do without or don't want. Extra track cooling, bigger brakes, splitter/spoiler, lower axle ratio 4.89 vs 5.17, summer tires, higher spring rates (Ugh! on these roads). Would have to give up a limited slip differential. Add a few things, R appearance package, splash guards, accelerate yellow color, body color exterior accents (paints the black side vents scoops ie. transformer look). $2440. $82,620. I can see better over the C8 hood even with the Ricardo's pumped all the way up, 5' 6". Love the sport car look and at my age you cannot be too flashy. lol

The way you can option chevys is amazing. If you are not going to track it I like your spec. We also went to the corvette museum and there were a bunch of people picking up their cars. I love the deep red and told my wife if I got one that was the color I wanted and her response was if you get a corvette it needs to be a bright car. So I love that yellow above. I wish I could afford one of each.

nice, I didn't realize GM broke that out. Hey Ford, how about doing the same? You know, meeting the consumer where they are instead of cramming your ill-conceived bundles down our throats?

I like what you have spec-wise. Z51 is nice and does make a difference in feel but if you donā€™t plan to track itā€™s definitely not a must have IMO. GMā€™s mag ride is quite good. Gotta have the yellow!

Itā€™s incredible the amount of optionality GM provides on the Vette (and most of their vehicles really) vs the Mustang and Ford. You can get just about anything as a one off which I really like. Yeah Ford could definitely take a note or two there

I found a CERTIFIED 2020 C8 (1LT) with Z51 and Magna ride with a bunch of other options, yes no rear view camera nor blind spit monitors but it only has 2700 miles

Asking $65,500

Itā€™s Red/Black
In a yr C8ā€™s will drop even more, if u could buy a certified C8 with 3-4k miles, say in the 50k range I would do it

What is "CERTIFIED". Did you buy it from a dealer that put a sticker in the window? My certified Nissan had 2000 miles and worn out wiper blades and a defective battery that had to be replaced. It was out of alignment too. Looks like an OK deal for a base 1LT with Z51. I haven't priced any used C8s.

yeah, way too high. Needs to come down at least 5K and I wouldn't consider it till it was more like 7-8k below that ask.

Oh for sure pricing is still a bit over valued in the C8ā€™s but better pricing is coming

I found another Certified 2021 3LT with 7k miles and 18k in options for $70,985

And when I say Certified its GM Gold CERTIFIED, not some BS Certification
