Have a 2013 Fusion with Keypad door entry so it is convenient to leave the smart key in the car, and lock the doors before going for a jog. (Very inconvenient to be carrying a Smart Key while jogging.)

Now I am about to get a 2016 Mustang. Is there a way to lock the keys in the car ON PURPOSE? What do you joggers do? Run with the Key?

Thanks,

Old Guard

Two pairs of my running shorts have a small pocket that opens up at the waistband. I put the fob there.

It is smart enough to not let you lock the keys in the car.

I use a waist pouch, need room for keys, phone, and gun.

probably, then again it would get sweaty if I stuffed it in my arm band too.

I carry it in my hand in plastic bag or my waist pouch in a plastic bag.

WTF?

First of all. To run in? Do you live in South Chicago, Newark, or Trenton?

Secondly. Even if you are not running. Really? Are you 65 or older?

I don't drive and jog. I do all my jogging from home. I do drive and hike. But then I'm carrying along a backpack. What about those old school magnetic boxes that you hide under the car?

is he not allowed to carry a gun? jogging with one is uncomfortable, but i wouldn't be without mine besides when I'm at work.

I run with a backpack on with my pistol, keys, water etc as well. Better off just hiding the fob if you don't want it on your person.

I untie my shoes and undo one loop of one of the laces and loop it back through the key hole. That way if the shoes come untied the key does not fall out. I also find that it bounces less.

Of course he can. I can't imagine running with a gun. At least recreational running. I am a Soldier and run with guns all the time. Lol
