I honestly don't think that matters to them. And that's why they don't matter to us.Yep. Then when it spanks the shit out of the Z28.....Well...enough said.
We're fat and still look damn good.

Hell yeah:ford:I honestly don't think that matters to them. And that's why they don't matter to us.

Who cares. They won't even discuss the z/28 and GT350 performances in the last couple of IMSA races. Likely because the results do not fit their narrative.Camaro6 guys are going to have a field day with this. They call S550 fat all the time.
Yeah -- if it's the same size tank (16 gallons), the gas is ~96 pounds, so with a 1/4 tank it's ~3578 -- just a quick SWAG.If its 3650 with a full tank, I guess not too bad.
It was the opinion of some people that the shipping weight represented the lightest car of the model with no gas, which would be an R without tech pack or anything else. It still may not be correct, but it's not far off from what has been said here. If the curb weight listed is for the R, minus a full tank would put it right near the shipping weight of 3512, again if that value was even real or correct. That 3512 was not an R model
With how many components removed that would have been there when shipped?Vorshlag weighed in a 15' base GT at 3595. If you guys think the R weights 55lbs more than that I have some great swamp land for sale.
Why would one think the GT350 is that much lighter than a base GT? 90% of the parts, the meat of the car, is the same. Bigger brakes, little different aero to the car, some suspension tweaks, but still a big engine about the same size as the 5.0.With how many components removed that would have been there when shipped?
