I get the skepticism, but whipple knows they’ll take a lot of shit if this doesn’t reproduce similar reseults when released. They seem like proud folks, and i just don’t see them exaggerating...he did list quite a few supporting/custom mods too.

I read on here, might have been by that guy Rob who used to post a bunch that Whipple had said 4 degrees of + Knock was allowable. Maybe that’s helping to get the dyno #s? Would be cool if the logs showing KR were included with dynos.

on 93 thats a hail marry dyno run I dont give a crap what anyone else says. LOL

there is a difference between being on the ragged edge and doing it the right way to be safe and reliable.

What i find funny is i havnt seen or heard of a single other car making 800 plus on straight pump 93 no octane booster no e85 no race gas ect. ect.

Maybe someone else can show me until then myself and other will label it dangerous and a ticking time bomb.

Maybe a customer will get a kit and make 800 on straight 93.

My 1st thoughts would be congrats quickly followed by show the logs.

There are so many variables and i dont think anyone is taking issues with the setup other than at that power level on 93 is well questionable to say the least.......

Let me know when its been drove hard for 20 30 40 50k miles and let me know how reliable the engine is then.

Again im not questioning the setup im questioning the fuel. There are better waysbto do it.

800 is running a stock engine pretty much at its limits too IMO thus a ticking time bomb aswell....

Hey guys & gals if Shelby is using them in their Super Snakes I believe Whipple can put down those numbers on pump gas. ;)

Gotta have a little faith in Whipple.

Huh? its not questioning Whipple. The Cobra Jet race program uses them too.

The skepticism comes in play about the 93 not the hardware.

You don’t think it’s possible?

Possible yes. Reliable No. Not reliable on 93 nor the stock engine either.

All it would take is one crap tank on 93 and a few WOT pulls to end up with carnage.

Like I said I don’t dispute the Dyno or the results. ;)

Roush & Ford Performance probably run conservative tunes.
Some other aftermarket manufacturers get closer to the edge
of what is possible on a stock engine.

Lethals own 2015 car

2.9 BAP ID1000s long tubes VP MS109 14 psi 805whp 616wtq

So let me get this straight same size blower but gen3 made more hp on less psi without racegas.

Mods are pretty much the same on both from what i can tell manual long tubes is pretty much it.

HP and TQ numbers are nearly identical as well but use about 5 psi less and using pump gas.

No not impossible but highly unlikely for a 302 on pump 93 to achive 815whp on 10lbs, the stoich ratio of 93 octane including 10% ethanol that most pump gas stations have in them wouldn't be enough. There would have to be a greater mix of ethanol to achieve that much power. I would say that Whipple not only made the most efficient blower at 43+rwhp per lb but also defined physics :p

Whipple, Leathal, fan boys & ect take it easy on me I'm just stating my own personal opinions. plus this is what makes the forum fun, learning, proving people wrong, friendly debates. :D

There gonna tell you that the bap was holding them back on the 15 car & for the 17 car they did the dyno pull in a meat freezer.
