Are those OZs 38mm offset ?I started on 265 square and changed to 285 square mid season. I was going to go with 275, but decided to take a gamble, it paid. Car doesn't feel squirmy, tires don't look pinched. 285s got me 2 second place Pro Solos and a National Championship win. Running with a 5mm spacer on fronts and 19x9 and 19x9.5 OZ wheels. I dismount, rotate and flip often for even wear. The GM performance team was also running 285s on 9" wheels. They did extensive testing with various sizes and those were the fastest, even though they don't technically "fit".
