Thanks guys! Before I saw the repsonses I read until page 37 where 285s are finally confirmed lol Went with 285s to save $80. I've run 275s for a couple of seasons now but better treadlife has me sold. Hoping the feel isn't too compromised but our cars don't have great feel anyways.

Anyone running 285 front on the performance pack 9in wide rim? I found a better deal on the 285s so I'd like to go up if possible.

Ask for instruction, ride with other fast drivers and Let someone fast in a similiar car drive your car and you ride shotgun. You really have to feel the car near the limits to understand how fast you can take the course. Park near the end of grid so you can watch others first. Have fun!

Matt Farah from the smoking tire hated it... but mines manual so I have no first hand experience. My wifes gti dsg would not hold a gear but went left in sport it did alright. Really though get out there and try it. Any track time is better than none. FAST autox is in your area if you wanna try...

I can't find the article now but there was a video re71r vs nt01 an R compound and the 71r's beat them... I don't do track days but have done a bunch of autox events on tracks and I have never seen a fast car on Nittos. Re71r's wear fast but I don't think anything but a full slick will beat...

Thanks guys! and John you're welcome to jump in man. I would offer to ride with and give some pointers but I am no instructor. It's hard to judge speed when you are riding in the passenger seat.
