Okay I'm done now.

The USB hub came in from AN Ford White Bear Wednesday and I put it on yesterday. As expected everything is working fine. So count me in the column of completed upgrades.

Has anyone had an issue with getting garbled music playback upon startup of the car? I leave an iPod Nano plugged into the center console all the time, and every about 5-8 starts I get garbled playback where I have to unplug and re-plug in the cord? This never happened in a year of owning the car before. Bad usb hub possibly?

I have that too sometimes. I just pause/rewind/forward and then play.
