If you aren't shopping around for insurance every 3 years you are wasting your money. Different insurance companies have different rates for ages, points, vehicles, credit etc.
I just switched from Geico to Liberty Mutual and saved quite a bit.

Daily Driver
No Points
38 YO
100/300/100 coverage
$500 Deductible
Rental and towing included.
$983/YR Premium

I don't bundle my homeowners insurance either, as it was cheaper to separate them out. (Ameriprise was by far the cheapest home owners insurance).

Thru USAA, I pay 1300 a year.

26 years old
Mostly clean driving record (no points)
Upped coverage
1000 deductible
2500 mileage

However, I did just get a quote from a collectors insurance since I don't daily it. It's a pleasure vehicle only.

501/year

49, 6 cars on my policy and home owners. 250/500k coverage, 500 deductable on collision and 0 on conprehension. My GT350 is 890 per year. It did not go up at all coming from a 2016 GT Premium to a 2017 GT350. I'm with Liberty Mutual even though I work for the largest insurance company in the world :)

I should have mentioned that I also have my 18 year old son on my policy.

I'm 31. This is what I pay with Geico, west Texas, with a $251 Comp/$751 Coll deductible. 650-680 credit rating.

Yeah, but that's only because you live out in Winchestertonfieldville.
$1,000 deductible and having home and umbrella with them also helps, although surprisingly little; I think about $22/mo for all combined. I think the Mustang benefits about $5-6/mo. I'd take a bigger deductible if they offered it. Never had an at fault accident or filed any claim in my life other than one windshield rock damage some years back, but glass is zero deductible anyway. But I do have $300,000/$500,000 liability.

Did a geico quote with 500 deductibles on the truck and mustang, and it's over 700/yr less with similar coverage and smaller deduct. Oh USAA, you're making it hard to want to stay.

Due to the high cost of medical services the old 100/300 does not cut it anymore. A friend's daughter was at fault in an accident recently that injured two people. One had a broken leg, the other a broken cheekbone. His insurance company advised him to get a lawyer because the medical bills and physical therapy have exceeded his limits.

He thought he would be OK since he has a $1M umbrella policy. Except it doesn't cover auto wrecks. He should have read the fine print.

We keep 250/500 and a $1M umbrella that covers auto/boat/motorcycle/whatever.

BTW 250/500/cash value, $500 deductable with a 17 yr old daughter; $1006/yr for the car described to the left.

I agree. I have $300,000/$500,000 plus a large umbrella.

I would like to see who has the best rates for a 15-17 mustang gt, if possible list your carrier and 6 month premium. Mine is country financial, 16 gt pp, no points on driving record, and mine is 580 for 6 months. Can anyone get better. If so details please. Thanks.
I have State Farm with a $0 liability/$100 collision deductible and am at $330/6 mos. 53 and no "points" (both my tickets in the last 3 yrs were written for 10mph under - does not go on record in Iowa) :headbang:

I have 3 cars, home and 2 life ins policies there so get a 'UGE mulit-line discount.

You might want to remove that. I'm pretty sure you can be banned from the forum for driving 10mph under. ;)

$92 a month with my truck included. I think the Mustang was $61 of that. I'm 24, was 23 when I picked it up. $500 deductible.
