Insurance premiums???

my renewal my premium jumped $120/year. geico told me they had "new data" on repair costs for my car. lol. I'm 24 with perfect driving record, never a single ticket.

Geico went up $25/6 mos for me. They told me my car was reclassified from "standard performance" (lol) to "high performance". Either way, I'm switching to American Family, and now I'm down to $487/6 mos (which is likely to go down further if I bundle it with my renter's insurance).

I have a 16 GTPP now. Totaled my v6 in August, had one payment left. $17,000 in damage. Backed into a car 2 years ago, $3,000 in damage. I now have 10 "insurance points".

Everyone wants $1,300/6 months from me. I'm screwed for a while.

I lived and bought my Stang in South Dakota and moved back to Central Florida and my insurance jumped up way higher. No tickets or accidents but it's because of the zip code and the amount of accidents and claims in this area. People here drive nuts and careless. Everyone here is speeding and cutting people off/tailgating. Very frustrating.

Well, although I don't have a new Mustang yet, the policy change quote for a 17GT plus my Jeep (Liability only on the jeep) with this coverage:

100/300k liability, 50k property, insured & relative non-deductible injury, and $500 comprehensive/collision deductible

is $735/6mo via GEICO. I'm in my 20s with no accidents on record, and in FL.

Let me correct what I said, central FL and south FL, not in the sticks :lol:

North FL/panhandle has nowhere near the insurance fraud mainly by the foreigners who decide the law (which the FL insurance requirements are already WAY WAY too low as is by only requiring $10k PIP and $10k property coverage. The lowest in the country yet the highest fraud rate! Many cars these days are damages WAY more than $10k even in a slight wreck) doent apply to them and "dont need no insurance" because they have nothing to take away; nor the hurricane risk built into the policy.

new guy here,just picked up my 2015 gt premium,my rates are $299 every 6 months.58 yrs old,no tickets or accidents,with allstate.Tried geico but they were $150 more every 6 months.1000/1000 deductible

When I ordered up my 5.0 my premiums would have been 1800 per year for the 17 GT, a 2016 Grand Cherokee Summit, and a 2010 Ram 4x4 quad cab sport.
$0 comp $250 Collision. up to 750k payout. Since I ordered I have filed for a divorce and traded my ram when the GT was delivered. I'm anticipating my premiums to be in the $800-$1000 come April when y policy changes with the same coverage's through Met Life.

I just switched over to a 2013 C6 Vette and it is $40 cheaper every 6 months compared to my 2015 GT.
