Sound like you did your homework!.
I pay $580 a year, but am 62, <7,000 miles a year and 4th car. Been with State Farm for 38 years. Not moving every couple years pays off in the long run.

We use a local insurance brokerage who shops around for the best rates. We also bundle the house and cars to get a discount. We pay about 800 a year per car.i got 2 speeding tickets within the last 3 years so insurance increased a few hundred bucks.

Really hard to compare rates against other people. Too many variables as others have said.
Those of you who complain about high rates and only have one car, wait until you have kids! I pay $3000 every 6 months for 4 cars. Ouch!! And I have one more driver coming up this year.

What the hell are your deductibles? I'm on Long Island so it's probably a bit lower w/ GEICO, but I'm at 570 per 6 months with a GT. 36 w/ clean record. 1000 col/500 comp deds for me.
Have a multiple policy discount too.
