Is it only the GT Premium which has the 'MODE' button allowing Normal / Sport / Sport+ / Track Driving modes?

Only premium mustangs have the drive modes.... No base model has them except for the 350.

Is there a way to GET the driving modes if you do not have a Premium GT?
Are there good aftermarket options for track if not, anyone know about this?

The mode button is just a shortcut button. It changes stability control and power steering together instead of separately.
You base should have traction control and power steering button.

Bless you jasonstang!

Can I ask you a couple question please?

Would track mode be the same as Traction Control off and Sport mode steering?

If I hold traction mode for 5 sec I can change 'Advance Trac'. How does this fit into the picture?

Thanks VERY much!

Modes:
• Normal – Delivers a balanced
combination of comfort and handling.
This mode provides an engaging drive
experience and a direct connection to
the road without sacrificing any of the
composure demanded from your
vehicle.
• Sport+ – Provides a sportier steering
feel and throttle response. Sport+
mode is ideal for use during more
spirited driving.
• Track – Provides a performance driving
experience. The engine responds
directly to your inputs and takes on a
more powerful tone. Track mode is for
use when pure performance is desired.
A performance oriented AdvanceTrac
mode is automatically utilized when
Track drive mode is selected. In this
mode, AdvanceTrac intervention is
reduced and tuned specifically for track
usage only and is not intended for
public roads.
• Snow/Wet - Provides a confident
handling driving experience during poor
weather. This mode provides an
confident drive experience and a direct
connection to the road without
sacrificing any of the composure
demanded from your vehicle.

It also changes throttle response. It may, not sure, also go into different performance maps (timing/AFR) in the engine ECU.

Driving modes has no effect on engine parameters like timing or AFR. It does alter the throttle settings however.

don't you guys read things BEFORE you buy?
No everyone expects to be spoon fed information. Reading is too much work remember? But yet when told to go read they call you an asshole.

Asking someone to read is a fair statement... However, good help can be a lifesaver, and some people enjoy helping others out; I'm hoping to reach those folks!

No problem helping people, but I also expect people to at least attempt to help themselves before asking :)
