I would never paint the plastic covers on the courtesy lights.. that would be bad, and they scratch easily too. Painting is always an option, but masking etc, plastidip is thicker, I assume that would distort the projection.. even a slight scratch creates a halo, effect and diffuses it. This would be worse I would thing.

The vinyl is 5 or 7 year exterior quality. Never seen it come off, and been through multiple washing thus far. Obviously I wouldn't even consider offering these if they came off after a wash.. ;)

Are you matching these for each of the paint colors? Obvioiusly some would be tricky (I currently have the black non-existent ones ) but great idea.

They should be close. But won't be an exact match without just painting them. These are vinyl, so the color is what oracal provides.
