New toys arrived. I had the tires, but AM came through on the wheels, and I think their sale lasts until the end of the month.

Just need new 2015 TPMS sensors. Dealer says they are listed, but can't seem to get them... yet.
Looking good Zombie! I can't wait to see them on the car!

Wheels

2 x 28387 - AMR Charcoal Wheel - 19x10
2 x 28336 - AMR Charcoal Wheel - 19x8.5

Tires

Pirelli Winter Sottozero Series II
Front: 255/40R19
Rear: 275/40R19

I went with the stagger because I was going to use some rims I already had, but they didn't look like it was going to fit, so I reached out to Alex, and asked him to give me a list of wheels they tested on a '15 PP.

Stay tuned. :)
We're finding that most if not all 19x8.5 Wheels will fit! If anyone has any questions or wants a quote set up let me know! PM's get pushed to my phone and I'll get you a reply immediately@

Is there an easy way to see a list of what you have that fits?
We're pretty firm that any wheel that we currently advertise for the 10-14 in a 19x8.5" will clear. Because we have so many wheels it's a huge undertaking having each individual listing updated which is why you may not be seeing that they're compatible on the 2015's just yet. We're working on this as we speak but If you're curious about something specific don't hesitate to let me know!

I know you're good about this but i gotta ask any way: Can we get some pics of this on your car ASAP?!

I was just recently thinking about 19x10.5 on the rear but I'm not sure about appearance of it. So I'm asking for really good rear pics of those rear tires and how they look under the car. Thanks Zombie! and keep the mods rolling!

When you change out the rims. Do you mind putting the stock rear 275 on the front? I would like to see how a sq setup would look. Thanks!

Okay folks. I have what I think is a design thats good enough to share for changing color on the Pony Courtesy light that projects to the ground.

The issue with using overlays is two fold. 1) the little dot I worked with is too small to.. well work with, its hard to put on and take off. 2) the plastic protecting the lens is EASY to scratch, and if its scratch it will diffuse the pony logo on the, making it blurs around the edges.

So, I change it into something that is easy to put on, rub on with a finger, and then has a tab/can be peeled so it doesn't scratch the plastic that the lens projects through.

For now, I have a few colors. I need to get good pics of each of these, as examples. The grays might be hard to show, as they are very subtle. The second pic is what my "beta" test looked like. Sorry for the poor pic.

I also want to get orange, yellow, and red, but I want to see how these go for now.

Once I have good pics of the pony color changes, and once I do a last minute check with Jarstang, these will be in the Classifieds section. I'll also check with Jar on selling the "decimal" points in colors.

Thoughts?

To buy these - it says to go to the Classified Section ...where is that ? - on the Mustang6g site? Never seen it.

Kinda a crazy thought...maybe, would it be possible( or even legal) to do a tint like your pony puddles to the DRL's? I imagine a greenish tint on a guard stang would look down right evil.

Okay, I've been busy, and almost ready to start selling these things. Vinyl has been showing up, and some of the transparent vinyl had to be drop shipped from Oracal direct.

Here are the decimal point colors. Add yellow to this (its on the way also.) Gloss unless specified.

Left column:
Dark Grey (Matte)
Light Grey (Matte)
Blue
Gold
Pewter
Black

Right Column:
Black (Matte)
White
Dark Red (A bit darker than the stock color)
Orange
Light Green
Dark Green

Zombie has dark green (see earlier in thread.)

Pictures of these in the 5.0 badge, as well as the color overlays, and all the photos, will be up with "how to buy" info this weekend.

Girl friends nail polish

Only a tiny question. You don't have a girlfriend? Why? NAIL POLISH is doing the same on bulbs and lenses. I did that decades ago before the aftermarket offered colored bulbs. :D RubberDip is another thing people could use for the PONY lights. If they don't like it, they can pull it and get another color.

How is your Vinyl holding against a car wash. The points a gone after a wash?

I would never paint the plastic covers on the courtesy lights.. that would be bad, and they scratch easily too. Painting is always an option, but masking etc, plastidip is thicker, I assume that would distort the projection.. even a slight scratch creates a halo, effect and diffuses it. This would be worse I would thing.

The vinyl is 5 or 7 year exterior quality. Never seen it come off, and been through multiple washing thus far. Obviously I wouldn't even consider offering these if they came off after a wash.. ;)
