Just be aware that the lighter the color, the better it seems to work (assuming you want to see the courtesy light).

Also, the plastic cover (which protects the lens/LED) seems like it can scratch easily, so be careful cleaning with even a paper towel. Scratches will blur the pony, and it will be worse with the diffused image because of the Oracal.

How did you do this? did you remove the grill or plastidip it black?

Sorry page 20 post #356 cant attach the images for some reason.
Plasti-dip, in place, with masking around all of the Pony.

Daytime pics. I think I am pretty much done with visual mods. At least until the aftermarket folks get the matte and gloss black emblems out there. ;)

All good choices so far. Personalized but tasteful. Now add the new stainless works cat back for a little good natured deep base RUMBLE.

Just peel the back off, and stick it to the plastic cover that protects the LED/Lens.

Where can you get Oracal Vinyl?
It usually comes in rolls.. Around $30 for 15"wide * 10 yards. I have used Signwarehouse.com for years now, without issue.

Waiting to see a few more options, but absolutely.

Thanks. I got 2 "is that the new Mustang? Awesome!" comments today, and a "LOVE That car and the color." I picked up the youngest at school a few days ago, and he got 3 or 4 kids come up the next day talking about how cool it is.

So far so good ;)

Oh, and one of the vette guys at work has been begging for a ride...

So, do you have any Lt Blue? All I need are 2 hole punched circles. I don't really need 10 yards of the stuff. :)

Someone could probably create a pack for this with two pair (a spare set) of 5 colors and sell them for 5 bucks and make a fortune.

I was thinking about making a slightly bigger version, that fits the entire flat area of the cover, so you could peel it off without risking a scratch.
