Looks like the cats got a new scratching post. I had one of their enclosures in my 350Z and quality and fitment was perfect!
That is wonderful to hear because as soon as I received it I started to question my purchase, like usual. :headbonk:

As for the cats' new scratch post, I put it away right after I took the pictures. LOL

(2) Skar Audio VVX-10v3 powered by a Skar Audio RP-1500.1D Monoblock Amplifier mounted in a rear facing zenclosure box but installed forward to allow for more sub movement while the rear seats are up.

Does it fit perfectly? It looks at the bottom like its on an angle? And does it hit hard? I'm still questioning two tens front firing.. And it seems like grey is the color to go to for color matching

Yes fitment is exact, but I have mine in backwards in order to allow the subs more forward movement when the seats are up. I went with black/red.

That's a great idea and good to know you can just turn it around and it will still work! Thank you for sharing!!

I'd like to get the single rear firing 10" cause I have components I would already like to use. 1st is a new in box Kicker comp 10. I've used them in the past and always been happy. The other is a vintage Hifonics series 7 THOR amp. It will provide 400w mono. I'm afraid of it overheating in that space though. Should that be a concern? I will have to get a line output converter and a crossover. That's 2 more components. Would be easier just to get a new sub amp with all that built in I think, and also have a level control up front. I really wanted to use the Thor for sentimental reasons, it was in my cars as a kid and I bought it when I was 17.

Also, they offer driver or passenger side on the box, which sounds better or is there a difference at all?

I got that setup made because I already a Rockford fosgate p3 and a hifonics amp lol. The space should be enough space room to keep the temps down. I have had it mounted in tighter spots.

They can put the sub on either side, just shoot them an email. I also just got a Rockford fosgate wiring kit for cheap on eBay and a scosche line out convertor. Both only cost me around $45 shipped total. I should have time to install mine this week if the weather gets nicer!

I'm just over thinking this. Do I need an audio control LC2i to correct the bass roll off? I'm betting I won't notice it. Why no one makes a nice line output converter WITH a crossover is beyond me. I don't want 2 components in the chain just to use my Thor.

I am not messing with anything other then; amp, sub, LOC to get the rca output for the amp. Should be all that's needed.

Yeah, no high level inputs nothing. It's vintage. See, I'm getting the Mustang in a week or so. I'm 43 years old. Have not had a car like this since I was in my 20's. It's been a long time. And this AMP was in my 1976 Datsun 280Z when I was 17, and in my 1991 Dodge Steath base when I was 19, and then into my Ford F-150 in my mid 20's. So I have a history with this amp. They go for big bucks on ebay but I can't sell it. It's like an old friend. So going back to my car roots it only makes sense to put it in the Mustang. It's way overkill for one 10", but that's not a problem at all. So I am trying to find a way to make it work. I need a way to make it turn on with the stereo, line level converter, crossover and such. Anybody know of one device to make this happen let me know. Also want a knob adjust up front, different sources need this and I will have the factory bass settings down one or two notches from center.

The AudioControl LC2i will do the trick. It'll act as a line output Convertor as well as restoring bass from the factory roll off if you intend to tap wires in the trunk. It'll also create a remote turn on from the factory signal which is good because that remote wire in the trunk is only live when the engine is on, not ignition.

Sorry for the long answer but that was what I was going to go with until I decided I wanted more from my front stage. Now I'm leaning towards a MiniDSP to pair with my 900w 5 channel to front rear and subwoofer channels.

Yeah but I still need a crossover. Any suggestions for something really small? And it needs to have a phase switch and I would like a remote level up front.

My amp comes on with ignition, not just when the engine is running. I tapped into the blue/white wire for remote turn on.
