Did you check to make sure the time schedule on quiet start is actually set for that time of day? Quiet start may be "on" but not set.

wait WHAT??? hahaha i thought if you turn on quiet start, it didn’t matter what the time was set to, it was just on. i thought the time setting was turning it on during that time and the other was a toggle for whenever you want!!!!

wait i just checked. it was set to 12am to 12am default. so yeah turning toggle on would always have it on. so nope. that’s quiet mode alright lol

oh yes!! love her so much and the tint is very nice too! but of course when they were fitting the tint and measuring it out they got shmutz all over my freshly washed and waxed car lol

it’s funny though when you get a light on the car, you see all the swirl marks already. cars two weeks old. they definitely did it at the dealership, and then i did my first wash last week. was super careful, but yeah there’s def swirls. nothin that you can feel with your nail really tho, just all in the clear. but that will always happen lol

Glad you are in love. It's all bout using the right stuff when waxing or sealing. My car is white, does not show many things. I have had many darker cars in the past, and my last was an Elkart Blue Corvette GS that had full ceramics. This mustang I will just car handle myself with polymer sealants as they tend to last longer.

got my tint today! gotta give it five days to fully dry and cure the guy told me. looks like they made a lot of streaks so it’s gonna be a lot of cleaning on my part ugh. i’m terrible at cleaning windows let alone that back one lol. gotta wait until it fully cures to touch it though. but came out nice! and it was buy one get one deal so now i can bring my tacoma and get a rear tint free!

The back windows look like "limo dark", did you get the door windows tinted a lighter shade (if so what percent)? I am scheduled for tiniting on Friday.

yup 5%. super dark!! and no i didn’t touch fronts only because i don’t wanna risk a ticket in nj.

Not necessarily. After you turn on the car, toggle to see what it is actually in. You'll see the other exhaust modes listed with a check mark next to the actual one. I bet 12am to 12am means it's never in Quiet.

I emailed this morning 3 diff companies for quotes on PPF exactly because of this.

Yeah but my issue with that is once you get a rock chip in the paint protection film then it looks even worse because you can’t repair it without taking the whole vinyl off.
